This is one of the most important decisions in your life, and it is important with a new-home purchase that you have a realtor to represent you in the process. In general, builders' model homes are staffed by agents who work directly for and represent the builder. They represent the builder’s best interests. Having a realtor on your side ensures your best interests are made a priority. It is important that your realtor is with you on your first visit.
